Maziya Sports and Recreation Club and Club Eagles have asked for support from the media and the fans for the upcoming AFC Cup.

Talking on 'Clubhouse', Mohamed Shazly(Shaz), the head coach of Club Eagles and Maziya's media coordinator Hassan Shifan has called for support from the media as well as the fans. 

Group D matches of the AFC Cup will be played in Male' later this month. Champions of Maldives, Maziya, Indian Champions Mohun Bagan and the Bangladeshi Champions Bashundhara Kings will be joined by the winner of the play-off between Eagles and Bengaluru FC. Eagles faces  former AFC Cup finalists Bengaluru in Male' on the 18th to decide the fourth team that joins the Champions of India, Bangladesh and Maldives.

While Club Eagles have signed the likes of Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) and Akram Abdul Ghani(Aku), Bengaluru FC has also strengthened heavily. Indian Legend Sunil Chhetri is the player to watch in Bengaluru FC. Meanwhile Maziya has signed the former SUS goalkeeper Mirzokhid Mamatkhonov to their ranks are in Saudi Arabi in preparation for the AFC Cup.
