Eagles top man Ahmed Rizuvan will not be available for the AFC Cup play-off match against Bengaluru FC.

Rizey is recovering from serious knee injury and will not be available for selection. Rizey was injured in Eagles Charity Shield victory over Maziya in the opening day of the season. According to sources close to the player and club, Rizey's return to action is projected to be  in the early stages of the upcoming season.

Eagles have signed legendary player Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) to lead their attack. Joining Dhagandey are his Valencia team-mates National captain Akram Abdul Ghani, Maldives goalkeeper Mohamed Faisal and Ali Fasir(Sentey). Eagles have also signed veteran midfielder Mohamed Arif and his team-mate Ismail Easa for the AFC play-off match against Bengaluru FC.
