Bengaluru FC  has started preparations for their AFC Cup qualifying play-off match.

Bengaluru has announced via their social media with the hashtag #WeAreBFC that they have started their preparations. India's legendary player, one of worlds highest active goal scorers Sunil Chhetri will be the player to watch in this match.

Bengaluru FC faces Maldives runner-up of 2020 season Club Eagles. Club Eagles started their preparations yesterday. The play off match scheduled for 15th August will take place in the Maldives. The winner will join Mohun Bagan of India, Bashundhara Kings of Bangladesh and the Maldivian Champions Maziya in the Group D of the AFC Cup.

The match was previously postponed after an unfortunate event where a few players broke the rules of curfew in May. The group stages will also be held in the Maldives.
