Top flight Clubs want return to action

With rising cases in Covid-19 the Health Protection Agency has once again imposed strict measure to spread the virus spread and imposed a ban on all group sports. The top flight is suspended and all clubs have been barred from training session midway through the league.

With Covid-19 cases dropping after the first wave the Health Protection Agency gave permission for competitive sports to return back to action but midway through the first game week of the second round the ban was imposed. 

Club Eagles and Maziya Sports & Recreation have lead the stand with both clubs releasing press statements regarding the issue. Both Clubs stated that many players are dependent on football for their livelihood and that clubs also face difficulties with the league going into a standstill. 

Some of the Worlds biggest Football leagues continue with preventive guidelines despite active Covid-19 case in the countries. The likes of Spain, England and Italy are a few to name. 

Meanwhile, in Asia many countries have leagues underway and continue to take place with Covid-10 guidelines.
