Maziy sports have established a comfortable lead at the top of the table thanks to a hard fought 2-1 win over rivals Club Valencia. 

Maziya now have 18 points to their name while Valencia who are in second place remain with 12 points. Maziya have a six point lead at the summit. 

Foreign import talents played a big part for the Green boys. Stewart Cornelius and Petar Planic helped Maziya to maximum points. 

Petar rose to the occasion in the 57th minute to fire home to give his side the lead and 12 minutes later Stewart Cornelius found a way Valencia stopper Faisal. 

Ali Fasir converted in the 81st minute to Valencia some hope but Aathi’s men failed to find a second to make it all square. 

Worrying times loom ahead for Valencia who could find themselves dropping down the ranks should third place Da Grande manage to win. While a win for fourth place TC Sports will take them level on points with Valencia who have dropped far too many points in recent games.
