Chelsea Football Club have sacked their manager Frank Lampard and German coach Tomas Tuchel leads the charge as favorite to takeover at Chelsea. 

Lampard took over Chelsea in a difficult period for the club as they faced a transfer ban and star man Eden Hazard left the club. Despite the odds the Blues legend delivered Champions league football with a fourth place finish and gave chances to a number of youngster in his first season. 

However, This season has been different with the Blues spending big and struggling to get results. Lampard came into this season having spent 220 million pounds on the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Harvetz just to mention a few. 

As for results Lampard has won three of his last four games but the Blues are 9th in the league standings and suffered a 2-0 defeat against Leicester City in the last game. The Blues also have a Champions league knock out clash against Atletico Madrid looming.
