Hammers cruise to win over Baggies

West Ham United made it into the top six of the Premier league with a 2-1 win over West Brom. Former Hammers Gaffer Sam Allardyce had a night to forget on his return to London. The Baggies loom in the relegation zone and are five points from safety.

Jarred Bowen opened the score in to give hammers the lead but Matheus Pereira's stunner put Albion back on track. Michael Antonio's goal six minutes after the hour mark secured all three points for the Hammers.

West Brom are struggling to fix goals from leaking in despite the arrival of Big Sam. The Albions have let in 45 goals and relegation to the Championship looks ever more likely. Meanwhile, Hammers march on to the top seven with four win in a row.

West Ham are seventh in the standings with 32 points level on points with sixth placed Everton while West Brom are struggling in 19th place having only registered 11 points to their name.
