Da Grande have moved up to third in the standings following a 2-1 win over Club Valencia. The result Valencia have now dropped five points from a possible six and stay frozen in second while Grande and Green Streets are pressing up in full force. 

Ali Ashfaq started the game from bench for Valencia meaning Ali Fasir lead the lines alone. The first half of the game saw chances fall for both side. Yashfaadh Habeeb fired over the bar from inside the Valencia box while Ali Fasir missed a couple of chances .

The Magician Ayaaz fired home a thumping left footed effort rooted into the far corner in the 51stminute to draw first blood and give Grande the lead. Valencia responded by bringing on Ali Ashfaq. 

The Man of Steel responded in typical fashion meeting a cross and heading home past Iyaan to draw level in the 87th minute. Bt two minutes later Umarjamov fired in a brilliant sidekick into the far corner to give Grande the lead. 

Late drama spilled over in the final moments of the game when Ali Ashfaq's shot hit a Grande defender and a penalty was awarded. Ali Fasir stepped up and hit the woodwork to blow away any chances for Valencia to grab a point.
