As TC prepare to take on Da Grande in their season opener coach Mohamed Shazly has a massive task in his hands. To deliver with a young squad. Shaz is confident of his new challenge, he said speaking at the press. TC management have a target of a top four finish. 

The prospect of TC finishing the top four maybe be something hard to take in but a top four finish would be beyond extraordinary for this young side. If there is any man who can deliver with young players it is Shaz. He did so with the under 19 youth side when he guided the Red Snappers to a third place finish in the SAFF under 19 Championship. Something a Maldivian youth side has never been able to achieve before. 

A win against Da Grande should be a morale booster for the TC youngsters. Grande have been quiet in the transfer window and have lost the likes of Nizam, Imaaz and shot stopper Faisal. It is to be seen how well Da Grande have prepared.

With Maziya running favorites for the title many pundits and coaches alike believe Eagles and Valencia would be a real threat while Nishthar's Green Dragons will also be fighting for a piece of the pie. Newly promoted SUS have also been impressive.
