SUS sinks Eagles in their first premier league game

Super United Sports have sunken Maziya to win their first ever Premier league game. Victor Rodriguez Munoz's flicked header beat Eagles goalie Mohamed Sinaahu to give coach Ahmed Nashid's side the lead. Coming into the game major team news for Mohan's side was that they were without star man Rizvan. 

Eagles struggled in the first half and SUS continued threat the Eagles goal. The first chance of the game fell for Victor Munoz. A freekick on the edge of the box was fired over the bar by the striker. 

Eight minutes later Victor flicked header found the back of the net to give SUS their first ever Premier league goal. Munoz continued dominate in the air as Eagles defenders struggled to coupe with his presence in the air.

A minute after SUS took the lead Eagles wide man Naim missed a sitter from right in front of the goal. Eagles came in to the second half strong and took control over proceedings and SUS dropped backed and defended from a deep line. 

SUS had a golden opportunity to widen the gap in the 50th minute but defender Shaafy fired wide from the far post. A free header that only had to be guided into the back of the net. 

Eagles failed to open the SUS defense despite their dominance. However, when they did Naim failed to find the back of the net. His header was fired straight into SUS goalie Mirzokhid Ravashanbek ugli Mamatkhonov. Mirzokhid played a vital part for SUS and made a number of big saves. 

Speaking at the press Eagles boss Mohan said that he was disappointed with the result. He further stated that his side failed to create as much chances as he wished. Mohan also highlighted the difficulty to fill the gaps left by Rizvan. 

SUS boss Nashid said that he was delighted to begin the season with a win. He however, highlighted that his side needed to work on fitness.
