"Players Fitness Better Than Expected " Coach Nisthar

Nisthar Mohamed says that he is more than happy about his team returning to the
pitch after a long break due to Covid -19 Lockdown.
Speaking to Boalha.mv Coach Nisthar said "We finalised our squad very early, so most players were given stay-home fitness exercises, and it appears as they have done their home work, I would say that they are much better than I expected."
Club Green Streets is the third team to resume its practices after government eased Covid-19 restrictions. They have started Pre-season practice yesterday in Henveyru Stadium.
Earlier in October, Health Protection Agency (HPA) gave the permission to resume football club activities with Covid-19 preventive measures. Football Association of Maldives (FAM) imposed a strict guideline to follow by all the clubs while conducting pre-season trainings.
FAM also announced the fixtures of upcoming season which will kick off on 8th December 2020.
Some of the players who were present for yesterday’s practice includes Mohamed Jailam (oggy) who returned after a successful knee surgery, Rilwan Waheed (Riley) also returned after recovering from an injury. Riley is the most senior player in Green Streets current squad.
Former Foakaidhoo FC players such as Hassan Nazeem (Choatu), Hassan Fuad, defender Ibrahim Haseeb were also present to yesterday's practice. Egyptian Player Khaleel Gamal and Ángel Carrascosa Muñoz were trained along with other team mates. Ángel was a former Spain U-19 national player who was last played for Foakaidhoo FC.
Players were instructed by coach Nisthar, assistant coach Ismail Asif (Asippe), assistant coach Ahmed Sarah and assistant coach Fazeeh Mansoor (Fazikko).
