SUS to Start Preseason Trainings in the Last Week of October
Super United Sports (SUS) is set to start practice later in October.
Manager for SUS, Ismail Thoriq told 'Boalha.mv' that they are trying to start preseason trainings between October 25 - 1 November.
SUS is a newly promoted club to first division and they are trying to bring in experienced players from other clubs. Boalha.mv has learnt that SUS is trying to sign in former Club Green Street player Hassan Adhuham (Sadey), former United Victory (UV) player Shafiu Ahmed (Shaafy) and former The Grande's captian Mohamed Rasheed (hockey). But none of these are confirmed by SUS yet.
Toriq said "we will bring in players who has experienced fist division games before, You will see a great squad in SUS with lots of experienced and young athletes, since this is our first time competing in first division, we will try to stand on a good position".
SUS has brought a well known Coach Ahmed Nashid (Naadhu) to manage their first team. Naadhu previously managed National Teams and other first division clubs. Assistant Coach Fareed Mohamed (farite) and goalkeeper trainer Hassan Hameed (Duckey) are working with Naadhu.
