United Victory (UV) says they are trying to start preseason practice during mid October. 

Speaking to Boalha.mv, President of UV said "We are trying to start practicing from 20th October, but the date is yet to be decided". 

To strengthen the Squad, UV has brought some significant changes such as bringing an experienced national team player Mohamed Arif (Baka), Ahmed Rasheed (Ammadey), Adil Abdul Rahmaan. These three players were playing for Club Green Street last season. 

UV also signed Ismail Farhad (Carry) and Ahmed Nizam (kuda Nizambe) from Club Eagles.

There are eight Premiere League clubs who will be competing in the new season. Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has given a green signal to start a new season before the year ends.
