Early Touch to Football Academy Maldives has decided to take part in the RSC International Masters Soccer 7s cup which is being held in Malaysia. This announcement was made via ETFA's Facebook page.

The 15th edition of the tournament is set to take place on the 5th and 6th of August. The competition is organized by RSC which is among the pioneer clubs to have initiated a youth programme in Malaysia.

ETFA head Coach, Heena Ahmed Saleem said that ETFA has been training for the tournament since January of this year and twelve players have been selected the seven a-side tournament.

The tournament is being held in Selangor, Malaysia it's a under 12 tournament. We started preparations during December of last year but some players turn 13 years old this year so we started again in January with players who were born in 2005" said Coach Heena.

Speaking of what he wants to achieve from the tournament Heena said He wants give more international experience to players from a early age and make football serious among players from a young age.

ETFA is the most well established youth academy in Maldives with branches throughout the country. However this is the first time ever that ETFA is taking part in an international competition.
