Bhutan dominated the first 10 minutes of the match.

First chance of the game fell to Maldives. Asadulla cross from byline goes inches over the bar.

Maldives slowly starting grow in confidence. Free-kick won in a promising position. Ali Fasir fires it way over the bar.

Bhutan win corner in the 18^th minute but Waste the opportunity.

20^th minute shot from Bhutanese player is comfortably collected by Faisal.

33th minute Akram crosses from the left flank Naiz Hassan’s first time volley goes way over the bar.

37^th minute Ali Fasir once again Fires the ball over the bar despite being one on one with Bhutanese defender.

40^th minute penalty for Maldives. Throw in to the area from lily. Ali Fasir control the ball with his chest. Bhutanese defender shoves him the ground.

41^st minute Ali Fasir fires the ball into the top corner of the net. No chance what so ever for Bhutanese goalie Hari Grung.

Brilliant counter attack from Bhutan Faisal with a brilliant save after shot from chencho.

56^th minute another counter attack from Bhutan through ball for chencho onrushing goalie Faisal clears the ball.

Wave of attack from Bhutan. Cross from the right flank finds a Bhutanese player inside the area whose volley goes over the bar.

Goal Maldives. Brilliant run from substitute Hamza Mohamed who goes into the 6yard box and cuts the ball back. Ahmed Abdulla taps the ball into the back of the net.

76^th minute chencho beats two Maldivian defenders and shoots from the byline. Shot goes over inches over the bar.

80^th minute Hamza beats one player and shoots from edge of the box. Shots goes inches wide of target.

89^th minute brilliant 1, 2 between Fasir and Umair. But Fasir’s shot lacks power. Comfortable save for Hari.

Referee blows his whistle for full time. With this win Maldives registers the three points and are third in group D of AFC Asian cup qualification.
