Ajax Ready to Bid for Suarez
Ajax are interested and ready to bring back Luis Suarez to Amsterdam, claims a Uruguayan Journalist. Ajax are set to bid for the Uruguayan marksman.
Suarez is a Uruguayan Professional Footballer who plays as a Striker for Spanish Club Barcelona.
According to reports his former club, Ajax are ready to bid for Suarez for an amount of €15m. Meanwhile AC Milan and another Italian club, Napoli have also showed their interest to buy the 33 year old.
Barcelona reportedly told Suarez to leave the club along with his fellow team mates and listen to offers this summer. However he has a contract until the summer of 2021 with Barcelona having an option to extend the deal. Barcelona is making changes to their squad after they were embarrassed 8-2 by Beyern Munich in the Champions League.
Some reports claim that a Qatari Sports Club based in Doha, named Al-Arabi Sports Club is believed to have contacted Suarez' agent. Hence it is unclear whether they have discussed about any possible offer for Suarez.
It is believed that Suarez receives nearly €15m-a-year in Barcelona as his wages. If he decides to leave Barcelona he will need to accept a greater deal than his current contract.
Suarez started his European football career at the Dutch giants Ajax between 2007 and 2011 and earned a transfer to Liverpool halfway through the 2010/2011 season.
