Club Green Street Player Mohamed Umair left the club and joined Maziya Sports and Recreation.

Umair signed a 3 year contract with his former club Maziya today. This is third time that he joined Maziya.

Umair was first seen in Victory sports club in 2006, where he played until 2009. In 2010 he played for VB Sports club. In 2011 he joined Maziya Sports club for the first time. A year later he went back to Victory. Later he played for New Radiant Sports Club from 2013-2015. Again in 2015 he joined Maziya for the second time.

During the last season he played for Club Green Street. 

Umair is a National Team player as well in which he competed in many international matches. 

Maziya has recently brought an experienced coach Mohamed Nizam (Nizambe) as there new Head Coach. Meanwhile Maziya spoke to Club Green Street player Ashad Ali (Adubarey) to bring him for the remaining matches of AFC Cup. Previously he played as a forward for Maziya.

Maziya is strengthening the club for  the upcoming AFC Cup group stage matches which will be held in October and November in Male' at the National Stadium.
