Chelsea beat United to secure FA Cup final spot
Two howlers from United stopper David Dea Gea was enough for Chelsea to secure a 3-1 win and set up a mouthwatering London derby against Arsenal in the Fa Cup final. But this was a victory served up to them on a plate by Manchester United boss Solskjaer and keeper De Gea.
Ole's weird defensive set up handed Chelsea the initiative and helped Lampard's men to bring an end to the Red Devils 19 game unbeaten run. Ole opted for five at the back and two holding midfielders to provide cover. Despite the defensive set up United let in the goals courtesy of De Gea.
Anthony Martial did win a penalty for United late on and Bruno Fernandes converted from the spot but it was too little too late. United Boss Ole has previously complained about the fixtures list not favoring his side.
With FA cup out of the way United's only concern will be securing a top four finish which will go down to the wire. Both United and Chelsea have locked horns in a three way battle for the Champions league places alongside Leicester City.
