Ismail Asif (Kudaheena) is back on the training ground with Club Valencia after taking a break from football for 3 months.

The person who took care of Valencia for the past three years is once again back with the squad. Under Ismail Asif, the yellow submarine side manage to break the curse of 12 years of trophy less long wait by winning the FA Cup last season. Club Valencia played the  AFC Cup 2017 play-offs, in which they managed one win and two draws and got knocked out after losing to Indian side, Mohun Bagun. Asif was in the dugout during the Club Valencia’s very first AFC experience after 2009.

As few months ago Ismail Asif stated to media that he would be taking a  break from football to give enough time for a treatment to a medical issue that he has being living through for a few years now.

Asif’s experience is more than ever needed to the yellow submarine side as the last years FA Cup winner is the bottom of the point table of STO Male' League with just a single point. Club Valencia is in this critical situation, as they failed to win a single match under Asif’s successor Ahmed Mujuthaba (Fesco).
