Maldives have moved one position up the AFC Club Competitions rankings thanks to an impressive run of form by Maziya Sports in the AFC Cup playoffs. 

Maldives was previously placed 28th in the rankings. The newly released rankings see Maldives rise to 27th. Japan top the rankings followed by Saudi Arabia, China PR and Qatar. 

Maldives have two representatives in this year AFC Cup with Maziya and TC. Should both teams produce positive results the ranking of Maldives will rise again.
