TC joins hand with New Radiant to save debt ridden Blues
TC Sports Club have taken part in New Radiant Sport Clubs 'Save the Blues' campaign carried out by New Radiant fans and the clubs new leadership to raise money for the club to pay off its debts.
The goal is to raise five million through fund raising and sales of merchandise. New Radiant are desperate to pay off the debts before the FAM congress to have any hopes of taking part in the 2020 season.
New Radiant was suspended for the 2019 season and are likely to play in the second division if they can get the chance to get the ban lifted. A lifted ban would mean the Blues would have to raise money to establish a first team squad.
Speaking to Boalha.mv a senior offical of New Radiant told that they are positive the club can raise money and pay it before the 15th of this month.
The fans are selling jersey and have also opened a donation box and the event will take place till the 15th of this month. Former New Radiant players including Sobah Mohamed, Mohamed Umair, Ali Ashfaq and Imran Mohamed also took part in the event.
