Da Grande have beaten Foakaidhoo in todays FA Cup quarter final fixture to claim a spot in the semi finals. Da Grande secured a spot in the semi after a 3-0 win over Ismail Asif's Foakaidhoo FC. 

Grande took the lead in the 41st minute of the game through Tholaal Naseer. His first time volley from insdie the Foakaidhoo box found the far corner of the net. 

Foakaidhoo went two goals down in the 61st minute when Yashfaadh Habeeb's through ball found Obaida Ahmed who slotted home into the bottom corner to give Grande breathing space. In the 84th minute Obaida grabbed his brace and made the score 3-0.

So far three teams have made it to the semifinals of the FA cup. TC Sport, Maziya and Grande will be joined by winners of Villimale' united vs Eagles.
