TC Sports have kicked off their FA Cup journey with a massive 13-0 win over Eydhafushi to secure a place in the semi finals of the competition. TC last FA Cup ended in dismay after a shootout defeat against New Radiant Sports Club. For Eydhafushi boss Ihusaan Abdul Ghanee (Shaanthi) this will be day to forget. 

Eydhafushi went into the game with a relatively young squad and had no oversees players in their squad but it is believed that they will strengthen their squad in time for the 2020 Jazeera Championship. While TC have a strong squad and are preparing for their maiden AFC Cup group stage campaign. 

TC were captained by Ishan Ibrahim as he took on his native island and fired home a quick hat-trick. Sattu started TC's goal frenzy in the first minute. Soon after in the 10th minute he fired home for his second goal and three minutes later completed his hat-trick with a fine finish. 

In the 23rd minute Ismail Easa added a goal to his name followed by Ali Ashfaq's first in the 23rd minute. On the half hour mark Saint Vincent striker Malcom Stewart slotted home and 14 minutes later he grabbed his brace. 

Eydhafushi started the second half much better but were only able to keep TC at bay for five minutes. Ali Ashfaq scored from the spot to make it 8-0 to TC follwed by Malcom in the 58th minute for his hat-trick. In the 72nd minute Ali Ashfaq scored to earn his brace follwed by Ismail Easa who scored three minutes after Ashfaq's second. 

Ali Ashfaq completed his hat-trick in the second minute of additional time andd full back Ahmed Farrah got his name on the score sheet in the 93rd minute to bring and end to TC's emphatic goal frenzy.
