Fadhuwa undergoes successful Knee Surgery.
Former National Women's team Captain and star of Women's football in the Maldives Fadhuwa Zahir has undergone a successful Knee surgery. Fadhuwa also happens to be the best player in the Maldivian Futsal scene with a number of gold medals and best player awards to her name.
A top striker with a excellent work ethics, first touch, Fadhuwa is known for her composed finishing ability and her excellent discipline many coaches have praised her for.
Fadhuwa was involved in a number of sporting events during her school days and went on to feature for the Maldivian Women's national team during 2003 when the first ever women's side was being put together. Fadhuwa was part of the Maldivian Women's team who played in the first ever International friendly.
Fadhuwa Zahir also featured in Sweden's Womens league and was a star in the New Radiant Womens team. Apart from her footballing career Fadhuwa is a key player in the set up of Club Immigration in several football competitions. She has also been a key player for Maldives during the SAFF Championships.
