Despite the outbreak of Covid-19 virus there would be no changes to any footballing activities and the schedule is set to go ahead as previously planned with no delays or postpones says FAM. 

Speaking to Boalha.mv a official from the FAM said that despite the health protection agency requesting to delay all activities which have mass gatherings FAM has not decided to cancel any events but the FA has postponed the girls academy. 

The offical also added that FAM has postponed all activites related to school kids after Education Ministry released a circular stating that all extra curricular activities be cancelled until further notice. 

The the cancellation of youth level activities would have no impact on senior level games with the FA cup and the National team games set to take place as previously planned.

The FAM official also stated that FA will not ask academies to stop practices as the academies are run by clubs and it is up to the clubs to decide weather to stop or continue grassroots program.
