TC sports is set to start the FA Cup against the dark horse of the tournament Club Eydafushi.

Eydafushi lead by former Maldives Technical Director Ihusaan Abdul Ghani(Saanthi) are set to fight their way from the Jazeera Championship to the top tier, Dhivehi Premier League. Eydhafushi's clash against star studded TC Sports will be one of the highlights of the FA Cup quarter-final round.

Saanthi is known to work on a small budget working with young players and building a strong team with Youth Players. Saanthi led Eagles to President's Cup glory in 2016, with products of Eagles Youth team making their way to senior team.

TC Sports last season's Premier League Champions finished 3rd in this season are set to represent Maldives in the group stages of the AFC Cup. Maziya will be second Maldivian team fighting for AFC Cup qualification after drawing away to Abhani of Bangladesh, Maziya are in a strong position.

Maldives is back in the AFC Cup after a season's absence. Maldives lost the AFC Cup slots after clubs failed to meet the standard required by AFC for Club Licensing.
