OPINIONS: Will Sattu Get The Chance He Deserves?
One of the reasons Inshan Ibrahim(Sattu) moved to Male’ was to achieve his goal of playing for the National Team.
He was highly praised by his coaches for his skills and tactics in the game. For the greatness and grace he has shown is part of why he’s been selected as the Man of the Match on many occasions. He has undoubtedly been working hard to prove his worthiness of a spot in the National Team.
Sattu’s biggest obstacle on making his dream come true was definitely not the lack of skill and determination. His friends and family would vouch for this. He has the ability to change results at the eleventh hour. The National Team has been unable to perform well in recent matches, Mostly due to the players chosen for the team being out of form. This has been a huge concern raised by the supporters of Maldivian Football.
I would like to see Sattu in the National Team Jersey playing at the National Stadium before he retires and I believe that’s where his legacy should end.
Mohamed Shareef, Sattu's Childhood friend.
