Goals From Bofi, Samaal And Choatu Help Foakaidhoo Beat Eagles
Foakaidhoo came from behind to beat Eagles 3-2 in the Premier League clash today.
Both teams squandered early chances, it was Eagles that scored first when Ahmed Rizvan(Rizey) set up Areen Abdulla Ibrahim who blasted into the goal to give Eagles the lead.
Foakaidhoo equalized early in the second half with Foakaidhoo born Ahmed Samaal racing behind the defense line to tap in for Foakaidhoo. Eight minutes later Foakaidhoo took the lead captain Hussain Fazeel(Bofi) scoring from the rebound from his initial header. Maldives International Hassan Nazeem Gassim(Choatu) scored the Foakaidhoo's third after tremendous work from Foakaidhoo strongman Ali Shamis(Thoppe) chipping past the Sri Lankan shot stopper Sujan Perera.
Foakaidhoo move upto fifth place, while Eagles fail to move back into third place. Second placed Green Streets will play second from bottom Nilandhoo on the 25th of December before Eagles take on United Victory.
