Afghanistan International Sharif Mukhammad has joined League leaders Maziya. 

He will be registered when the transfer window opens in January for the first tier of Maldives football. The big defender join his country man, goalkeeper Ovays Azizi as Maziya strenghtens the squad for the third round and the AFC Cup qualification play off.

"We are pleased to announce that Afghan National Team defender Mukhammad Sharif has signed for Maziya. We are delighted that Sharif has joined the Green Boys and his inclusion will surely make our squad stronger" posted Maziya on their official social media. Mukhammad has 12 caps to his name having played in the Russian Premier League, Swedish League and recently in Cyprus First Division, the 29 year old defender will definitely add the strenght of Maziya.

Maziya lead the Dhivehi Premier League with 32 points from 13 games.
