Maziya destroys Green Streets 6-1 as Premier League resumes after a fifty day break.

Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) opened the scoring for Green Streets against the run of play just 20 minutes into the game. Mohamed Salah played a through ball out wide to the Green Streets captain of the day. Dhagandey took on Abdulla Haneef(Banjo), beating the experienced defender before sending the ball in between the legs of Maldivian International Amdhan Ali(Andy) beyond the Afghan goalkeeper Azizi Ovays. Just four minutes later Mohamed Salah assisted his second, this time against his own mates, Cornelius Stewart was gifted his first goal after a poor back pass from Salah to make it 1-1. Stewart scored his second five minutes from break tapping in from far post.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, Hamza Mohamed(Hampu) extended Maziya's lead. Dhaadhu set the ball perfectly for Hampu who scored from outside the box. Captain Asadulla Abdulla scored Maziya's fourth three minutes later tapping in Hampu's low cross. Stewart scored his hattrick collecting an early cross from Ibrahim Waheed(Ibbe) beating a defender before scoring from a powerful low drive to score Maziya's fifth goal. Ibbe scored Maziya's 5th five minutes from time.

later tonight TC Sports take on Nilandhoo. TC having played three games less, has the chance to move up the table.
