FAM D-License Course has been held in F.Bilehdhoo.

FAM Instructor Hamdhullah Fernando conducted the D-License course from the 10th to 12th of December, with all twelve coaches completing the course. Rising Stars Sports Academy held the three day beginner coaching certificate in association with the Football Association of Maldives. Rising stars recently kicked off their Football Academy in F.Bilehdhoo. Talking to Boalha MV, Club President Azheen Abdul Hayyu said that he was very pleased with the course. "This is a huge success" he said referring to the starting the academy and then the D-License course.

Former National team players Binma Abdulla Waheed and SAFF Gold winner Sobah Mohamed attended the colorful ceremony to inaugurate the Academy. Just two months ago Bilehdhoo Academy told BoalhaMV that they hope to bring their coaches up to the C-Certificate level. D-License is the beginner coaching license. D-License teaches the participants the basics of football. 

Football Association of Maldives has fifteen certified D-License instructors, four C-License instructors and two B-License instructors and is one of the strongest coach education departments in the SAFF region.
