Bilehdhoo Academy kick off today with former National players Binma Abdulla Waheed and SAFF gold winner Mohamed Sobah attending the opening ceremony.

Talking to BoalhaMV, Bilehdhoo Rising Stars Sports Academy representative Azheen said that the Academy started with seventy boys. "we are focusing on under 14 boys at the beginning. We hope to provide players to represent island, atoll and national teams" Azheen said.

Among the seventy boys, boys will be divided into under 7s, under 9s, under 12s and under 14s. Bilehdhoo academy starts with local coach educators, the academy is hoping for assistance from the Association and the Youth Ministry. "we have a few challenges, we will face them, but we are hoping for assistance from the Football Association and the Youth Ministry" the Biehdhoo academy representative said. 

Bilehdhoo Rising Stars Sports Academy is registered under the Youth Ministry and is an independent organization. They hope to bring their coaching staff to the AFC C-Certificate level.
