"The Team Is Well Prepared" Maldives U 18 Coach Shaz
Speaking from their training facility in Nepal, Coach Mohamed Shazly(Shaz) has said that the team is ready and well prepared for the challenge. Shaz spoke to the FAM media after Maldives reached semi finals of the SAFF Under 18 Championship for the first time in it's short history.
Shaz said that by the grace of Allah, Maldives has already reached it's target of a semi-final appearance. Though they have reached their primary target, according to Shaz, the team well prepared for the semi-final appearance against India, one of the favorites of the tournament.
"India is a strong team. One of the tournaments favorite teams, but Maldives will play for a win and to reach the final match" Shaz said.
Shaz also said that maximum effort from team officials and the players shall be seen in their effort to reach the finals. According to the former BG and Victory coach, the players are motivated and all set for the showdown against favorites India in today's semi-final match of the SAFF Under 18 Championship. The team requests the Maldives supporters to watch the game and to be with the team according to coach Shaz.
The semi-final matches will be streamed live from www.mycujoo.tv First semi-final between Bhutan and Bangladesh will be streamed at 1015am and the Maldives-India game will start at 1415pm local time.
