Amir Ebrahimzadeh scored five goals as Iran beat Maldives 13-0 in the AFC under-16 qualifiers in Tehran tonight.

Fardin Bahri, Mohamed Reza Kooshki, Yadegar Rostami and Iman Danesh scored two goals each in the Group C game. Earlier tonight Afghanistan and Palestine drew the game 2-2. Hosts Iran is the favorites to qualify from the four team round robin. 

Maldives will play against Afghanistan on the 20th of September before Iran play Palestine. On the 22nd Maldives will play against Palestine while Iran will play against Afghanistan.
