Eagles took the lead in the 17th when Ahmed Rizvan scored from the spot. Former captain Imran Nasheed tapped in Eagles second goal to end the first half with a two goal lead. 

Foakaidhoo looking unusually quite in the second half broke down when Rizvan was found free behind the defense after poor passing by Foakaidhoo doubling his lead. Foakaidhoo then conceded two goals in two minutes. Maldives internationals Ali Fasir(Sentey) and man of the match, Rizvan adding his third in 63rd and 64th minutes.

Ten minutes later Khalil Gamal scored an individual effort to reduce the deficit for Foakaidhoo. Eagles' Sujan Perera who already was center of attention pushing Hassan Fuadh in the box then rushed out to make a horror tackle on Hassan Nazeem Gassim(Choatu) in the box only to be booked. The Maldives under 19 player maker stepped up scoring to make the score 5-2.

The win takes Eagles into third place while Foakaidhoo falls from the top four to sixth place. Later tonight high fliers Da Grande will play against TC Sports.
