BG Sports Academy playing Friendly Matches In Malaysia
BG Sports Academy under-12 team is in Malaysia playing friendly matches.
Just over a month ago BG Sports under-14 team camped in Malaysia. This morning BG Sports lost to MSSM Putrajaya 8-0 before losing to Subadron Football Academy in the evening. Tomorrow the team will be playing in a festival format whereby playing multiple short matches with all players participating.
Talking exclusively to BG Sports BG Academy Coach Muaviath Ilham said that BG are training hard to do better in the Under 12 and under 14 leagues later this year. "BG players are very skillful, they need to see the physical aspect of the game that Malaysian boys are showing."
"The players parents have shown unbelievable support for their children's development and I appreciate it, Whatever we need in Malaysia, with all arrangements and everything, support from Amir(Amir Sharifuddin Wong, former Referee's Director at Football Association of Maldives) is great. I also want to add that BG Sports receives a lot of support from the FA Technical department, I really appreciate this and let me tell you that all these cannot be achieved without the help from these three(The parents, the FC Technical department and Amir Sharifuddin)." added Ilham.
