Saudi Arabia thrashed Maldives 6-0 in the UEFA Assist International tournament held in Hithadhoo today.

Awad Abou Dahal scored the opening goal fourteen minutes into the game. Abdoulla Alamri double Saudi's lead half an hour into the game. Three minutes later Abdulsalaam Ali Barnawi scored the third. In the Frantic end to first half Ahmed Al Asiri scored five minutes before halftime to make it 4-0. Bader Waleed Alharbi scored the fifth three minutes later before Al Asiri scored his second deep into stoppage time to score all 6 goals in the first half.

Saudi Arabia having lost to Latvia in their opening game leads the group on goal difference with a game in hand. Latvia will play against Bhutan on 24th July. Maldives is rooted to the bottom of standing facing favorites Latvia in the final group game.
