United Victory Defeats the Young Victory Side
United Victory beats a young Victory side 4-0 in Tonight's Premier League clash.
Former Maziya defender Kovacevic Milos gave United Victory the lead in the 9th minute. Victory held on. Victory played deep and frustrated UV going on quick counter attacks. Victory even had the chance to equalize when former Maldives under-16 player Nahil free in the box only blasting the ball over goalkeeper Tholal(Toplak).
Khiebasolav Dzmitry scored from a freekick from out wide in the 54th minute breaking Victory's brave resistance. Fifteen minutes later experienced midfielder Ismail Shafiu(Isse) scored blasting the ball beyond the goalkeeper with an excellent finish from Dzmitry's low cross. Isse however turned hero to villain when he was given a direct red card late in the second for dangerous play. Man of the match Dzmitry had already won the game making it 4-0 before Isse was given his marching orders.
United Victory has three points from two games, after losing to Foakaidhoo in their opening match. Victory is yet to win a point, losing to TC on their opening match.
Foakaidhoo FC will play against Da Grande tomorrow 16:00 hours while Club Eagles and TC will play the match of the day at 21:00 hours. For Eagles, tomorrow's match will be their opening match, while Da Grande, TC and Foakaidhoo have all taken three points from their first game.
