Nilandhoo captain Faruhad Ismail(Farey) speaks out after their 0-2 defeat to Premier League newcomers Da Grande.

Speaking after the match, Farey praised the Nilandhoo youngsters who worked hard in the game. "we only had around one week to practice, all the players weren't even able to participate, with the full team we will give a good fight to any team" Farey said.

Farey indicated that some players are missing from the starting line-up due to them joining the club late. 

The experienced Maldives defender is in his seventeenth season. Farey signed to his hometown club Nilandhoo this season. He has played for the likes of New Radiant, VB Sports and Maziya in their hey day. Farey also featured for Victory Sports, BG Sports, United Victory and Green Streets.
