Under the Pilot Project this course will be carried out in six different countries with the same batch upto six years. The participants will be promoted yearly according to their performances whereas two candidates from the Maldives has passed the first year of the course.

FIFA/AFC Coaching Educator Course for this year was held in Goa, India from 3rd June to 7th June 2019, with two candidates from Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Iran and Sri Lanka along with six candidates from India as it is the hosting country.

The first year of this course was mentored by Coaches Educators (Instructors) from Australia, Singapore and England.

It has not yet been decided which country will be hosting the FIFA/AFC Coaching Educator Course in 2020.
