Maldives number one goalkeeper Mohamed Faisal is still available. Faisal who was named SAFF Suzuki Cup's most valuable player is among those high profile players made available due to New Radiant's suspension. 

According to Faisal, few personnel from Maldivian clubs made courtesy calls to the player asking him about his club status but nothing concrete has been reported so far. 

"I will consider if I get a good offer" said the Maldivian shot stopper talking to BoalhaMV. 

Faisal rose to fame with good performances for Club Eagles and Victory Sports. After a career threatening injury, Faisal returned to football with the help of his trainer Aslam Abdul Ghani. Faisal signed for New Radiant Sports Club going on to become the regions best player in last year's SAFF Suzuki Cup.

Earlier this year, the Football Association made the decision to ban New Radiant Sports Club from all FAM activities due to unpaid wages of players. The upcoming season will be without the giants of Maldivian football New Radiant. Besides Mohamed Faisal, Ali Fasir(Sentey), the star of Maldives SAFF Championship victory is without a club.
