Bengaluru FC scores in the 4^th minute of injury time to beat Maziya SRC at todays AFC Cup match played the Galholhu National Stadium. Maziya SRC would be disappointed to lose at home, specially in the manner they lost the match conceding a goal in injury time.

This is the first loss of the season for the Maziya SRC, who came into the game yet to concede a goal in the 2017 season. The match was more or less evenly balanced, even though Bengaluru FC controlled the match for majority of the time. Goal scoring chances were few and far in between, with both teams cancelling each other tactically.

With the win Bengaluru FC goes to the top of the group, having won the two games played in the group stages so far with 6 points. Maziya SRC remains second in the group with 3 points and faces an uphill battle to qualify to the second round as only the group winners go through.

Maziya SRC now turn their focus back to STO Male’ league.
