Champions TC Sports Club has started training for the upcoming Premier League.

TC training was handled by experienced coach Mohamed Athif. Other new big names present with the Champions were Aku (Akram Abdul Ghani) the National captain and former Eagles and Victory captain Messi(Ismail Easa).

Waadu(Abdul Wahid), Ahmed Maisan, Majdhan Solih and Haisham moves to TC Sports with their former coach Athif.

Talking to BoalhaMV Athif said that it's a huge challenge. "I know it is a huge challenge, but the players, the management and I are fully aware and prepared for what lies ahead. We are capable of reaching our target" Athif said.

The former Women's National team coach worked as United Victory and Victory boss before moving to the Football Association as the Head of Women's Football. Athif has a reputation of working with a small budget getting results against bigger teams. 

The reigning Premier League champions TC Sports parted ways with coach Mohamed Nizam at the end of last season with remarkable success. Along with Nizambe TC parted ways with their best three players Dhagandey(Ali Ashfaq) who moved to Green Streets and Ibbe(Ibrahim Waheed) and Feydhoo Ibbe(Ibrahim Mahudhee Hassan) both moving to rivals Maziya.

Besides TC Sports, Four other teams has started their pre-season preparations. Da Grande and Foakaidhoo started a week ago while Green Streets have been training for close to two weeks. Maziya beats the lot, already on a pre-season camp in Mahinadhoo.
