Club Eagles and Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has signed a two year sponsorship agreement yesterday at an event held at the FAM house.

On behalf of MWSC Managing Director Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed signed the contract while from Club Eagles Chairman of the club, Ahmed Shiyam pen downed the paper work.

Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) was also Club Eagles sponsor partner for the second half of last season. It is the first club that has signed with partnership companies under the new initiation by Football Association of Maldives aimed at helping  the top flight clubs financially.

Recently most of the clubs has expressed the concern of financial issues within the club as it is directly related to player’s motivation. But now it seems FAM is working well towards their promise made to local football with the new management. According to FAM the rest of the seven clubs will also sign with their respective sponsorship partners in a near future.
