Tonights’s fixture in the U-18 tier of Mamen Inter School Football Tournament held defending champions Ahmadhiyya against Ghaazee who is struggling to keep up their performances in the tournament with two huge previous losses.

Tha game began with pure dominance from Ahmadhiyya and their player Ahmed Naurif Mohamed struck four minutes into the start of the game. This was followed seven minutes later by Mohamed Ifham Shareef with a graceful goal. The game then went pretty dry despite Ahmadhiyya having more control over the ball. The last goal of the half came two minutes to halftime in the form of Zuraarath Ahmed Gasim.

The half began with a dry twenty minutes in which Rehendhi defended their goal very well. However, that was the calm before the storm as Ahmadhiyya struck their fourth in the 58^th minute, courtesy of Lamaan Zuhair. Then came two quick fire strikes by Abdul Muizzu and Ali Saneem Mohamed iin the 65^th and 68^th minutes respectively. That was followed up five minutes later by Hussain Huzam Adam and just a minute before the final whistle, a devastated Ghaazee side saw one last goal land in their net after Mohamed Zain Shujau struck.

This meant Ahmadhiyya now go level on points with VIHS. Despite scoring more goals than VIHS they are still in third due to the three goals they conceded against CHSE on the opening match. CHSE now lead the table and is followed by VIHS who will play them this Friday night. A much awaited fixture of the tournament as two huge fanbases of the tournament go head to head. Plenty of loud cheers and drums to be expected as these two giants meet at the National Stadium.
