As the Mamen Inter School Football Tournament has reached its first age group’s semifinals, another amazing campaign is to begin, Under 18 age group tournament.

Under 18, the senior age group is to kick-off on 19th March, Tuesday. Same like under 15, all the matches of this age group also will be played in the national football stadium.

There will be five schools competing for this senior age group title. The most successful side of this age group and current champions, Ahmadhiyya International School, Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), runner-up of last year, Villa International High as School (VIHS), and the two Hulhumale town sides, Rehendhi School and Ghaazee School. But the time of announcement for teams to participate, MAPS College also participated. And later they withdrew their name from the participants for unknown reasons.

Already the tournament schedule has being announced by Football Association of Maldives (FAM) to the schools and to the related parties.

In the opening match of under 18 campaign, CHSE will face against the most successful side of the age group, none other than, Ahmadhiyya.
Later in the following day, VIHS will kick off the tournament against Rehendhi.

Parting ways with long time contributor to Inter School activities, Nesle' Milo, FAM has joined hands with Dhiraagu as the main sponsor for this year inter school football.

As all the matches of this age group also is to be played in the national football stadium, FAM has made the arrangements of FREE ENTRANCE to all the supporters.
