Inter School: Thaajuddin makes it to the quarters, Huravee bids farewell
In the ongoing Mamen Inter School Football Tournament, Thaajuddin School under 15 football team has collected their ticket to the quarter stage after defeating the newbie Huravee School in the process.
Today it was the last group stage match day for group A. Thajuddin won the match against Huravee by comfortable 0-5.
As predicted before the match was in favor of the Thaajuddin yellow submarine side regarding to the performance of both side throughout the tournament. Losing the first two teams of the tournament, for Huravee the tournament was already lost. On the other hand, Thajuddin lost their opening match to Ghaazee and they collected a vital win against Jamaluddin in the second match day.
The yellow submarine started the match well with an early 2nd minute goal. Mohamed Saain found the opponent net to give the lead to his side. 10 minutes to his first goal, Saain again for found with another great chance to score. Which he used well. At the 13th minute he doubled the lead for Thajuddin side. After that Thajuddin was somehow unlucky score again for more than 15 minutes. Their third goal came in just before the half time whistle. At the 31st minute, Yousuf Hassan made his name into the score sheet by scoring another goal. As the previous two matches, there was not much that can be done by the inter school debuting side, Huravee.
During the second half, the action was began with a goal less 20 minutes, until the 55th minute. The yellow submarine side went on to score again to make the score line 0-4. This time it is Mohamed Mishal. The game was packed by the final goal scored by Yousuf Hassan at the 61st minute.
With this win, Thajuddin advances into the quarter final stage while Huravee bids farewell to this year Inter School Football Tournament.
