Former VB Addu FC and Maalhos Sports Club attacker Amju(Ahmed Amjadhu) joins Foakaidhoo FC.

Amju is the third new player Foakaidhoo has signed so far for the upcoming Dhivehi Premier League. Foakaidhoo finished 7th last season missing out on their top six target in the last day game of the season losing to fellow Minivan Championship side Nilandhoo. Already having secured their key players for the new season, Foakaidhoo FC will be looking to reinforce their squad. Having already secured the signatures of Oggy(Mohamed Jailam), Choatu(Hassan Nazeem Gassim), Hassan Sufiyanu and Ammadey(Ahmed Mohamed) Foakaidhoo has secured the signatures of Mohamed Karam and Maito(Ali Sameeu) from Valencia and New Radiant. Amju is only their third new player.

Speaking to BoalhaMV, Foakaidhoo official said that more signings will be announced soon.

Amju, a left winger by trade is very versatile. Having played in left wing back position for Maalhos in their Premier League campaign, Amju also played a couple of games as an central attacking mid-fielder.

The versatile player is best known for his assists in Maalhos' famous win over Green Streets in 2017. The Left winger operating behind the lone striker, Amju assisted Angel Carrescosa Munoz's wonder goal and was again involved winning the penalty that won the game for Maalhos. In the Dhivehi Premier League of 2017 Maalhos became the first Minivan Championship side to beat a Male' League side.
