Supporters and organizers from Ga. Kondey are out collecting funds.

This morning supporters of Ga. Kondey were out washing and cleaning motor bikes trying to raise funds for their football team. According to one organizer, they raised around MVR 12,000 today. Until their opening game they plan to work every Friday morning. Next week they plan to sell cup cakes. According to the organizer who spoke to us, they have also mobilized the youth at home to start working. They hope to collect around MVR 100,000 with such activities before their opening game.

Their first game is on the 2nd of May against hosts Ga. Nilandhoo.
