Victory holds TC to a draw.
The night game of match day 3 which was battled heavily by one of the favourites for the championship TC and a rejuvenating Victory side ended in draw with both teams scoring one goal. Scoring was opened by Ahmed Mohamed of TC in 22 minutes while Victory goal came 19 minutes into the second half at the 64th minute by Ahmed Zawl Nazim. TC's Mohamed Yazdhan Hussain ended the game winning the man of the match award.
The match then went on to end in draw which means Victory has drawn 2 games in the group, with Foakaidhoo out of the tournament in the evening.Victory still has a fair chance of qualifying into the the semi-finals if they win against Foakaidhoo in matchday 5 and one team winning in the match between Da Grande and TC. Both TC and Da Grande currently has 4 points and Da Grande is leading as they have a better goal difference than TC. If the match between TC and Da Grande ends in draw, and Victory wins against Foakaidhoo, the teams that go to the semi-finals will be decided on goal difference.
Meanwhile, group B will feature United Victory and Maziya against each other and Green Streets against Eydhfushi against each other on match day 4.
So far the tournament has been extremely exciting and youth players are being scouted by national coach Petar Segrt.
